7 roles at London Transport Museum for Young Freelancers
The deadline for applications is 10am Monday 5 August.
Young Freelancers are young people aged 18-25 who join LTM to participate in a year-long development role, taking on supporting freelance roles across the museum and partner organisations.
Young Freelancers undertake a paid induction week at the museum and then receive regular training throughout their year with us.
Over the year staff from across the museum and partner organisations offer briefs specifically designed for Young Freelancers to deliver high quality professional work while being supported to develop their skills and learn from colleagues.
Young Freelancers are paid £12.25 per hour for all briefs they undertake and a half rate for all their training. They will also receive a mentor from the cultural sector to support their professional development while in the role.
This year we are advertising for 6 Young Freelancers and for a Khadija Saye Photography Fellow, in memory of our friend and colleague Khadija Saye, who was working as a Young Freelancer at LTM at the time of her death in June 2017. The fellowship will include access to additional training in photography through the Photographers Gallery DEVELOP Careers programme.
